Ohana Imaging Solutions Inc. (OIS) is a locally owned, independent outpatient cardiac ultrasound practice located in downtown Honolulu. We are seeking experienced, compassionate, and detail-oriented Cardiac Sonographers to join our growing team.

Our practice emphasizes high-quality echocardiography, collaboration with interpreting cardiologists, timely patient access, and personalized care.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE).
- Obtain high-quality 2D, M-mode, spectral Doppler, and color Doppler images.
- Perform accurate cardiac measurements and advanced imaging, including global longitudinal strain (GLS), when clinically indicated and within training.
- Recognize abnormal cardiac findings and follow established clinical escalation protocols.
- Maintain accurate examination documentation and imaging records.
- Collaborate with interpreting cardiologists, referring physicians, and clinical staff.
- Provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
- Participate in quality assurance, protocol development, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience independently performing comprehensive adult transthoracic echocardiograms.
- Strong knowledge of adult cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in 2D imaging, M-mode, color Doppler, and spectral Doppler.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a smaller outpatient clinical environment.
Preferred
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS-AE) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential.
- Experience with Philips ultrasound systems.
- Experience with myocardial strain imaging.
- Prior outpatient or cardiovascular diagnostic laboratory experience.
- Additional vascular ultrasound credentials or experience.
Education
- Minimum: Associate degree or equivalent qualifying education and clinical training.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in diagnostic medical sonography, cardiovascular technology, or a related healthcare field.
